Dr. Kelly Faber, presents “Caring for the Premature Infant in LMICs: Creating the Silver Standard.”

Dr. Kelly Faber is a Pediatric Hospitalist who completed medical school at the University of Louisville and residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital (now Norton Children’s Hospital) in 2011. After residency, she joined the Samaritan’s Purse Post-Residency Program, and served in Tsiko, Togo, at Hôpital Baptiste Biblique from 2012 to 2014. Dr. Faber then joined ABWE as a full-time medical missionary and returned to Togo to help open the new Hospital of Hope. She remains at HOH, where she currently works as a hospitalist, runs the pediatric hematology/oncology program, “Surviving Takes Hope,” and specializes in neonatal care. Dr. Faber’s other experiences include program management for Infection and Prevention Control in the DRC Ebola outbreak, and Lassa Fever outbreak management in Togo. She is currently getting her Masters Degree in Epidemiology at the London School of Tropical Medicine and Health.
