Dr. Jason Fader and Cindy Albertson, R.N. present “Surgical Subspecialty Teams: Orthopedics.”
Dr. Jason Fader grew up as a missionary kid in Kenya, where his parents worked at Kijabe Hospital. He went to Calvin College, Loyola Medical School, and completed a surgery residency and fellowship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is married, has three daughters, and lives in Burundi, where he has worked as a surgeon at Kibuye Hope Hospital for the past six years.
Cindy Albertson, R.N. is a registered nurse with 12 years of clinical practice. She recently completed her master’s degree in public health with a focus on global health. Cindy has been involved with medical missions for over 15 years, including leading international short-term teams, serving with the West Africa Ebola response and recovery efforts, and serving with Samaritan’s Purse disaster response teams in Iraq and Bangladesh. Cindy currently serves with World Medical Mission as the Surgery Sub-Specialty Teams Program Manager.
